Inland Transport Service

Inland transport covers all transport activities that go over land, i.e. all modes but air and maritime transport. It hence includes transport by road, by rail, on inland waterways (both passengers and goods) and through pipelines (goods only)

Air Freight

Air freight is another term for air cargo that is, the shipment of goods through an air carrier. Air transport services are the most valuable when it comes to moving express shipments around the globe. Just like the commercial or passenger airlines, air freight flies in the same gateways.

Sea Freight

Sea Freight is a method of transporting large amounts of goods using carrier ships. Goods are packed into containers and then loaded onto a vessel. A typical cargo ship can carry around 18,000 containers, which means that sea freight is a cost-efficient way to transport high quantities over large distances.

Customs Clearance

Customs clearance is a necessary procedure before goods can be imported or exported internationally. If a shipment is cleared, then the shipper will provide documentation confirming customs duties that are paid and the shipment can be processed.

Warehouse & Distribution

A warehouse is used for storing products while a distribution center, apart from storing products offers value-added services like product mixing, order fulfillment, cross docking, packaging etc. A distribution center stores products for relatively lesser periods compared to a warehouse.

Cargo Management

Cargo Management refers to the handling of activities in the logistic centres and warehouse which includes transporting cargo, unloading cargo, picking, sorting and warehousing.
